What is Our S.T.E.A.M. Summer Camp?
NAARC’s summer camp is designed to be a neuroaffirmative place for neurodiverse children to learn coping skills, engage with peers, and learn S.T.E.A.M. in a safe environment.
The camp will provide your child with a choice of daily of activities that will be fun and educational. Our volunteers are engineers, biologists, artists, and counselors who will offer your children the opportunity to learn things that can help them thrive in a neurotypical world and to learn S.T.E.A.M. subjects in a fun and engaging way.
Our sensory safe environment will give neurodivergent children the opportunity to enjoy a camp and avoid sensory overwhelm and meltdowns
Our counselors are master’s level educators and mental health professionals who have are specialists in neurodivergence.
We have sensory safe places and quiet for children that need breaks from overwhelming activities.
Many of our volunteers and leaders are autistic and neurodivergent and can guide children in how to thrive as neurodivergent people in a neurotypical world.

"True support for neurodivergent children begins with understanding, not correction—honoring their cognitive strengths while equipping them with tools to navigate a world built for different minds."
